Microsoft Hold a Security Contest with Prizes More Than 250 Thousands

Microsoft announced a contest called BlueHat Prize. The event is designed to encourage innovation in the field of security technology. For the three best contestants, Microsoft provides a total prize worth more than USD 250 thousand.

Deals like this also been done by Google and Facebook. But Microsoft is more attention because it is made in the form of contests with bigger prizes.

"Microsoft recognizes the need to stimulate research in the area of computer security technology," said Matt Thomlinson, Microsofts Trustworthy Computing Group, quoted from Digital Trends, Thursday (04/08/2011).

He mentioned, Microsoft is keen to promote a focus on developing innovative solutions rather than finding individual issues. Microsoft believes, BlueHat Prize can help reduce a variety of computer security attack attempts.

The first winner will be rewarded a share of the biggest prizes valued at USD 200 thousands. Second prize will receive $ 50 thousands and the third winner will get a subscription package Microsofts security network.

Fujitsu Releases First Network Scanner with Cloud Connection

Fujitsu announces ScanSnap attendance N1800, network document scanner the first to offer features connection to a variety of cloud services (cloud computing), such as Salesforce CRM, Google Docs and Evernote.

"ScanSnap N1800 Fujitsu will strengthen its position as the leader of the document scanner market in Indonesia since the second half of 2009 both in terms of volume and revenue," said Raymod, in his statement on Monday (5/16/2011).
